The Amish Sleigh Convertible Baby Crib is artfully handcrafted by world renowned Amish craftsmen, employing age-old practices.  Our furniture is made of solid wood, harvested responsibly here in the USA.  Our heirloom quality crib designs are convertible & can grow with your child into toddler beds, day beds & full beds. This crib is sturdy enough to last through childhood and into adulthood, with classic designs that stand the test of time.  All our Amish Furniture is handcrafted and hand assembled by skilled Amish craftsmen in the USA.

Our changing tables/dressers/chests come standard with dovetail drawers & full extension drawer slides and are all handmade of the same quality hardwoods as our cribs.  Each table is conveniently designed to be used as a changing table until your child is old enough, then the table can be flipped over & converted to a chest of drawers.  We are happy to customize any finish, paint or hardware - please contact us to discuss details.

Our Amish Convertible Baby Cribs are made entirely of solid wood & use no composite wood materials.  However, the drawer bottoms & backs of our Amish case goods are made of non toxic, formaldehyde free PureBond Plywood.  PureBond plywood is compliant with US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) standards, earning one point for LEED®'s EQ Credit 4.4 for Low Emitting Materials: Composite Wood.  PureBond Plywood also satisfies the emissions standards of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Phase 2 regulations, the highest standards in the United States.  Alternatively, case goods can be built entirely of solid wood; please contact us if interested.

Note: Given wood's natural beauty, our furniture looks great stained, finished, painted or "bare"; it's simply a matter of taste.  However, if you wish to paint your furniture or opt for a dark stain, we recommend Maple & Cherry.  Oak is not enhanced by paint or dark stains & most people opt for a light to medium stain when choosing oak.  Please keep in mind that since wood is an organic compound, its color & appearance can vary from batch to batch and from species to species depending on a wide range of factors, as determined by Mother Nature.  Furthermore, the appearance of the stain samples above may vary from one screen to another.
