Charlie's Soap laundry detergent is guaranteed to be the best laundry liquid you've ever used! This detergent was originally developed for use in the textile quality control labs. It is formulated to work with fabrics safely and effectively. A revolutionary approach to laundry care, Charlie's Soap does not cover up stains and odors - it really cleans them. You may have heard it called Charleys Soap Detergent, Charlie Soap, Charles Soap or Charlie's Detergent, but they're all the same great soap: Charlie's Soap!

First time users: Run an empty load (or perhaps some old rags) with the recommended amount of Charlie's Soap laundry detergent or powder. This will clear your washing machine of any residue left by previously used detergents and keep them from re-depositing on your clothes.

Please note: hard water does not clean as effectively as soft water. In hard water, much of the detergent goes to soften the water instead of cleaning clothes. This means that more detergent must be used than used in soft water. Softening water by using more detergent has two drawbacks: it is expensive and if the detergent contains phosphates, it adds to water pollution. The first solution is to use water as hot as recommended for the fabric since all detergents perform better at higher temperatures in any quality water. The second solution is to soften the water; there are several choices available and each situation will have its own remedy. If you have hard water, call us and we will be happy to assist you in finding a solution that works.
