The Amish Cottage Loft Bed is beautifully handcrafted by Amish craftsmen employing age-old practices with classic designs that stand the test of time.  This three piece set can be set up as pictured here or used separately as a twin bed, dresser & bookcase.  Our furniture is made exclusively of solid wood, harvested responsibly here in the USA then handcrafted and hand assembled by skilled Amish craftsmen in Ohio. 

Th Amish Cottage Loft Bed fits a standard size twin mattress & is equipped with guardrails on both sides for ultimate security.  It includes a 36" three shelf bookcase & a 9 drawer dresser (with dovetailed drawers & ball bearing drawer slides).  The backs of case goods, as well as drawer bottoms, are made of 1/4" non toxic, formaldehyde free PureBond Plywood.

PureBond plywood is compliant with US Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) standards, earning one point for LEED®'s EQ Credit 4.4 for Low Emitting Materials: Composite Wood.  PureBond Plywood also satisfies the emissions standards of the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Phase 2 regulations, the highest standards in the United States.  Alternatively, case goods can be built entirely of solid wood; please contact us if interested.

Dimensions (items can be customized):

Given wood's natural beauty, our furniture looks great stained, finished, painted or "bare"; it's simply a matter of taste.  However, if you wish to paint your furniture or opt for a dark stain, we recommend Maple & Cherry.  Oak is not enhanced by paint or dark stains & most people opt for a light to medium stain when choosing oak.  Please keep in mind that since wood is an organic compound, its color & appearance can vary from batch to batch and from species to species depending on a wide range of factors, as determined by Mother Nature.  Furthermore, the appearance of stain samples may vary from one screen to another.
